Braidon Hobzek is a performer, dancer and storyteller, creating in both systems and steps. With a background in choreography and a deep curiosity for technology, his work weaves together movement, sound, film, and programming. His practice spans everything from live performance to custom-built digital environments; all in service of crafting experiences that are emotionally charged, technically sharp, and a socially playful.

Braidon works with tools like TouchDesigner, Blender, Bitwig Studio, Adobe and MadMapper; treating each program like an extension of the studio floor and his inner voice. Whether he’s crafting dialogue or designing light-reactive visuals, he’s interested in the poetics of structure:

He often wonders, how can physical and digital environments coalesce to tell a story, start a dialogue, or shift a room’s temperature?

His work often explores queerness, identity, and cultural memory, not as fixed topics, but as open questions. A believer in play as a form of rigor, Braidon blends seriousness with wit, sincerity with sparkle.

Raised in a swirl of contradictions “ too much of this, not enough of that “ he learned early how to make space where none existed.
